Phil X - Lead Guitar and Vocals 

One of the most recorded guitar players in the last decade, Los Angeles based session ace Phil X is considered the "best of the best" in the industry. Phil has been the guitar sound behind such artists as Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, Adam Lambert, Tommy Lee, Avril Lavigne, Alice Cooper and many many others. Oh, and his other gig is lead guitarist for Bon Jovi! .  Catch Phil on the upcoming Bon Jovi world tour for the new album, This House is Not For Sale. Also see Phil in the upcoming feature film "Hired Gun" and in the soon to be released documentary "Give the Drummer Some", a companion release to the new Drills album "Stupid Goodlooking" due out this year. 

Germany based Framus Warwick Guitars have created several Phil X signature model guitars along with Freidman Amplification,a high end guitar amplifier company creating a signature "Phil X" model amplifier

Daniel Spree

Canadian born and Los Angeles based bass player Daniel Spree is an active in demand  studio player along with his other projects like the band, Elvis Monroe, among others. A fine singer songwriter, Dan has toured the world playing music and is featured on all of the Drills previous releases. 


Matt Starr

Matt Starr is a Los Angeles based drummer/vocalist, clinician, educator, Modern Drummer contributor & producer.  He is currently filling for MR BIG drummer Pat Torpey on their "...The Stories We Could Tell" World Tour.  Matt spent the past 3 years as the touring & recording drummer for KISS founding member Ace Frehley, playing on Ace's latest release "Space Invader" (eOne) which debuted at #9 on Billboard, selling 20,000 copies in it's first week.  He is also a member of Burning Rain (featuring Whitesnake guitarist Doug Aldrich).  In the past Matt has worked with Kevin Dubrow (Quiet Riot), Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses), Love/Hate (Sony), Beautiful Creatures (Warner Bros) & others.

In the studio Matt has recorded with producers Jimmy Bralower (VP A&R Atlantic Records, Madonna, Mick Jagger, Joan Jett), Toby Wright (Metallica, Alice In Chains, Korn), Jim Ebert (Meredith Brooks, Toni Braxton, Butch Walker), Mike Chapman (Blondie, The Knack, The Sweet), Dave Bianco (AC/DC, Tom Petty, KISS), Anthony Focx (Aerosmith, Foreigner), Warren Huart (Aerosmith, The Fray) & others.
